FIFA 22 Ultimate Team players have been eagerly anticipating the release of the seventh instalment of the Team of the Week, with players from across the globe seeing their stats boosted following stellar displays in their respective leagues.

Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at the standout performers to make the cut this week as well all of the players to have been rewarded with a coveted in-form card.

VINICIUS JUNIOR - 85

Finally living up to the hype at Real Madrid, Vinicius Junior has been simply unplayable in the early stages of the 2021-22 season and continued his hot streak against Elche on Saturday.

The Brazilian starlet scored both of his side's goals in that 2-1 win - his sixth and seventh of the La Liga campaign - while also completing 90% of his passes in an eye-catching display.

As if stats of 91 dribbling and 80 shooting were not enticing enough, Vinicius's 85-rated in-form card boasts a rip-roaring 98 pace as the attacker enjoys an equally rapid rise in Madrid.

REECE JAMES - 84

If Ben Chilwell is not chalking up goals for Chelsea, then another wing-back is, as Reece James silenced the St James' Park faithful with a man-of-the-match showing against Newcastle United.

The right-back crashed home two thunderous efforts and played his part defensively too, winning all three of his ground duels and posting a 95% pass success rate on the day.

James's 84-rated card is very well-rounded with 80 defending, 81 passing, 81 dribbling and 83 physical, although his 84 pace - an upgrade of +4 from his base card - is not the most enticing.

AARON RAMSDALE - 80

Already proving to be one of the best bits of business from the summer transfer window in the Premier League, Aaron Ramsdale continues to demonstrate why he is in command of the gloves at Arsenal week in week out.

The 23-year-old came up with eight saves to preserve his side's lead against Leicester City and inexplicably kept out James Maddison's goal-bound free kick before thwarting Jonny Evans from barely a yard out on the follow-up.

Ramsdale was only handed a 74-rated silver card this year but has been rewarded with a tasty +6 upgrade this week, and it would be no surprise to see the Englishman break into the 80s next year should he keep up this remarkable form for the Gunners.
