The top 25 most-improved players in the highly-anticipated FIFA 23 video game have now been announced by EA Sports as the countdown to the end of an era continues.

For 30 years, EA Sports and FIFA have partnered for the popular series, but FIFA 23 will be the final edition of the game under its current name before the two parties go their separate ways.

The full game is due to be released on September 30, but for the next couple of weeks, a collection of standout players and their ratings will be drip-fed to fans by EA Sports.

After confirming the ratings for their ambassadors and the game's top 23 players, the 25 cards who have been handed the biggest upgrades have now been named, and a wealth of Premier League performers are among the most improved players.

Here, Sports Mole counts down the list of the most improved players and compares the elite crowd to their statistics from FIFA 22.
