Europe's hopes at this year's International Dota 2 Championships halved on Day Four after Team Secret were defeated by Russian side Virtus Pro in the Lower Bracket.
Team Secret, the tournament favourites heading into the contest, threw away a one-game lead before losing the series 2-1, bowing out of the competition in the process.
Crowd favourites MVP Phoenix were also eliminated on Day Four after crashing to a 2-0 defeat to Vici Gaming, a series in which both games were hard fought.
Vici Gaming went on to face Chinese underdogs EHOME and beat them by the same scoreline. Both teams played signature Dota throughout, but Vici were more organised and that is what separated the teams.
An All-Star Match between Team N0Tail and Team Chaun also took place on Day Four, with fans competing alongside Dota professionals in a chaotic 10-versus-10 contest that was won by the former.
