Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has denied rumours that Chelsea have made a bid for Stevan Jovetic.
The highly rated Montenegrin striker was reportedly the subject of a €25 from Roberto Di Matteo's side, with links also to a summer move to Napoli.
Reports suggest that the 22-year-old is unhappy at the Artemio Franchi but Prade denies any offers have been made.
"Absolutely not, it's not true," Prade told Radio 1 when asked about Chelsea's alleged bid for Jovetic. "We do not know anything about an offer from Chelsea or any other team, Italian or otherwise.
"We are waiting for the lad to to return on July 1 and we will see what he has to say to us. But the rest is just gossip."
Jovetic arrived in Florence from Partizan Belgrade in 2008 and has been courted by some of Europe's top clubs ever since.
