A close game of few chances at Pittodrie has ended 0-0 as Aberdeen and Hearts could only play out a scoreless draw.

The match was bright early on, with Jamie Langfield in the Aberdeen goal saving from Arvydas Novikovas.

Novikovas continued to look dangerous, but neither side could work their opposite goalkeeper as the game was being played mainly in the middle of the park.

There were bitty fould disrupting the flow of the game as both sides started to run out of time to nick what would surely have been a winner.

However, both defences won in the end with the score staying 0-0
