Aberdeen have made the Scottish League Cup final by routing St Johnstone 4-0 in this afternoon's semi-final at Tynecastle.
Early on in the game, Adam Rooney rolled the ball across the face of the Saints goal for Jonny Hayes to open the scoring.
Aberdeen doubled their lead on 15 minutes when Peter Pawlett gathered a loose clearance, marauded into the penalty area and fired a shot under opposition keeper Stevie Banks.
After the restart, Pawlett turned provider when his pass sent Rooney through on goal, the striker then curving the ball past the advancing Banks for Aberdeen's third.
Late on in the game, Hayes weaved his way through the Saints defence from the left, before planting the ball into the far corner with an angled drive.
Derek McInnes's side will take on either Hearts or Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the final on March 16.
