Aberdeen are reportedly leading the chase to sign former Blackburn Rovers striker David Goodwillie.
The 25-year-old is currently without a club after leaving the Championship side at the end of last season.
The Dons are now poised to land the Scotland international as they look to boost their attacking options, according to BBC Sport.
Goodwillie, who joined Blackburn in 2011, has spent the past three seasons on loan at Crystal Palace, Dundee United and Blackpool respectively.
The forward scored nine goals in 34 appearances during the 2013-14 campaign.
