AC Milan have reportedly made progress in their pursuit of Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan, who is believed to undergo his medical on Tuesday.
Maignan was the standout goalkeeper in Ligue 1 this season, keeping 21 clean sheets which was seven better than any other keeper in France this season, only conceding 23 goals in 38 appearances.
The recently-crowned French champions Lille are braced for a busy summer with many clubs interested in their players, who took the title off Paris Saint-Germain for the first time since Monaco did in 2017.
According to the Daily Mail, Maignan will undergo his medical with AC Milan on Tuesday before signing a four-year deal at a transfer cost of £13m.
Current Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is expected to leave the Italian giants as his agent Mino Raiola was not satisfied with the new proposal the club offered Donnarumma.
Maignan joined Lille in 2015 and has gone on to make 180 appearances for the club.
