AC Milan have announced that Mario Balotelli's highly anticipated move to the Italian side has been completed.
The 22-year-old was expected to finalise his return to Serie A today after completing a medical and having dinner with club president Silvio Berlusconi, who once referred to the striker as a "rotten apple", last night.
Milan have confirmed that the Italy international has put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year contract today, leaving behind a stint of almost three years in the Premier League.
Reports have claimed that Balotelli has taken a pay cut in order to sign for his boyhood club.
