Accrington Stanley have been promoted to the third tier of English football for the first time in their history.
The Lancastrians claimed a 2-0 win over Yeovil Town on Tuesday night, which ensured that they would cement a place in the League Two automatic promotion places.
Stanley striker Billy Kee, who was named League Two Player of the Year this week, scored twice in the space of three first-half minutes at the Wham Stadium to settle the home fans' nerves.
Although John Coleman's side had a goal disallowed after the break, the hosts comfortably held on for victory and could celebrate promotion to League One with four games left this season.
Despite having one of the smallest budgets in the division, Accrington won 27 of their 42 so far this term, and boast a 14-game unbeaten run.
Stanley have been in the Football League since 2006, the original club collapsing in 1966.
