Striker Billy Kee has agreed a one-year deal with League Two club Accrington Stanley after being released by Scunthorpe United.
The 24-year-old spent the 2009-10 season on loan at the Crown Ground, where he scored nine goals in 44 games.
"I had other offers but I turned them down to come here. I've had a lot of ups and downs since I left but I think I've reached a stage when I just want to be happy and I'm happy at this club," Kee told Stanley's official website.
"There are a lot of familiar faces here and I think that I can do well for the club over the next year or more."
Kee failed to score a single goal in 16 appearances for the Iron last season.
