AFC Wimbledon forward Matt Tubbs has won the first League Two Player of the Month award of the season.
The 30-year-old scored in four of the Dons' five games in August as they won two, drew two and lost one in the opening month of the campaign.
Tubbs's finishing ability was evident in all four goals and his exploits in front of goal see him joint-top of the scoring charts.
The other nominees for the award were Cheltenham Town goalkeeper Trevor Carson, Morecambe striker Kevin Ellison and Peter Murphy of Wycombe Wanderers.
