Ajaccio have confirmed that Albert Emon will replace Alex Dupont as manager at Stade Francois Coty.
Dupont was sacked by the Ligue 1 strugglers earlier this week following a slow start to the season.
Emon, who has previously coached Marseille, Nice, and Cannes, will begin his new role on January 2.
A statement on the club's official website read: "It is now official, Albert Emon will be the new coach of Ajaccio from January 2, 2013."
Stephane Paganelli and Thierry Debes, who were Dupont's assistants, will remain in control of first-team affairs for the remainder of 2012.
