Ajaccio coach Albert Emon has said he is confident that Adrian Mutu will not leave the club this summer.
The Romanian striker has been linked with a move away from the French club following his announcement that he will retire from football at the end of the 2013-14 season.
"He's under contract," Emon told French radio station RMC. "At the moment, we're only talking about the matches we have to play. But I know he feels good here. I get the feeling from him that he will still be an Ajaccio player next season.
"For the first five or six months of this season, he suffered a lot, because he hadn't played that much the previous season.
"But he has bounced back really well; he's scoring important goals. With him in the side, our attack is considerably more powerful."
Mutu joined Ajaccio last summer.
