Sampdoria have confirmed that Ajax captain Niklas Moisander will join the club on a free transfer in the summer.
The defender, 29, has penned a three-year contract with the Serie A side.
Moisander, who also skippers the Finland national team, returned to Ajax in 2012 following spells with PEC Zwolle and AZ.
"We wish him the best of luck for the end of the season with Ajax and with Finland, and we wait for him in Genoa, confident he will be ready and driven to face this new, fascinating adventure in the world's most beautiful colours," read an official Sampdoria statement.
Moisander has scored two goals in 47 appearances for his country.
