West Ham United are reportedly in discussions with AC Milan over the possibility of signing experienced forward Divock Origi during this summer's transfer window.
The Belgium international has not been included in Milan's pre-season tour squad, with the club keen to move him on before the end of the market.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, a number of clubs have expressed an interest in signing the 28-year-old, but West Ham are in a strong position, with the Hammers currently 'talking' to Milan about a deal.
The report claims that Origi is reluctant to leave San Siro unless his current salary is matched, which could make it difficult for West Ham to sign him.
The Belgian only managed two goals in 36 appearances for Milan last season, but he scored 41 goals in 175 appearances for Liverpool, including 22 Premier League goals, before leaving Anfield.
Meanwhile, according to the Daily Record, David de Gea has rejected the chance to make the move to Inter Milan on a free transfer this year.
The Spaniard's contract with Manchester United came to an end last month, and it was confirmed shortly after that he would not be returning to the Red Devils.
De Gea was allegedly recently offered a €5m-(£4.3m)-a-year net salary to make the move to Inter, but the experienced goalkeeper turned down the deal.
The publication claims that the 32-year-old is asking for an after-tax salary of €10m (£8.7m), and he is keen to return to La Liga this summer despite interest from Saudi Arabia.
Inter recently sold Andre Onana to Man United, with the Cameroonian moving to the 20-time English champions as De Gea's replacement.
Meanwhile, according to Football Insider, West Ham forward Michail Antonio is keen to make the move to Saudi Arabia during this summer's transfer window.
The Jamaica international was again a regular for the Hammers during the 2022-23 campaign, featuring on 48 occasions in all competitions, scoring 14 times in the process.
There is currently speculation surrounding the 33-year-old's future, though, with a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia believed to have become an option this summer.
The report claims that Antonio is keen to make the switch to Steven Gerrard's Al Ettifaq outfit, who are thought to be willing to spend £10m on the experienced attacker.
Al Ettifaq, who finished seventh in the Saudi Pro League last season, are also working on a deal for Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.
Brighton & Hove Albion, meanwhile, are allegedly close to completing a deal for Fiorentina defender Igor.
The 25-year-old made 42 appearances for Fiorentina during the 2022-23 campaign, and his future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, a deal to take the Brazilian to Brighton is close to completion, with a medical potentially taking place on Monday.
Romano claims that the Seagulls will pay a €17m (£14.7m) fee plus add-ons for the defender, who is set to sign a four-year contract with the Premier League club.
Brighton will play in the group stage of the Europa League in the coming season, having finished sixth in the Premier League table last term. body check tags ::
