Bottom club Annan Athletic collected their first win of the season by defeating Berwick Rangers 2-0, with goals from Stuart McColm and Kenneth Mackay, while East Stirlingshire pulled away from the lower reaches with a 1-0 victory against Clyde.
Meanwhile, two goals in as many minutes from Paul Woods helped Queen's Park to a 2-1 win over Elgin and moved them up to seventh on goal difference.
