Angers have qualified for the semi-finals of the Coupe de France after beating Moulins on penalties this evening.
The Ligue 2 side faced an uphill battle after Mohamed Yattare was sent off just over half an hour into the match for lashing out following a rash challenge from Loic Chalier.
Chances remained scarce throughout the match, with Angers playing defensively, while the fourth-tier side struggled to keep possession.
With the goal drought continuing throughout extra time, the match had to be decided by a penalty shootout.
After both sides missed their opening spot kicks, Arnold Bouka-Moutou gave Angers the advantage, while Gregory Rouchon saw his effort saved.
The Ligue 2 club opened up a 3-2 advantage before Khaled Ayari slotted home the decisive penalty, to make sure of his side's place in the last four.
