Angel di Maria has said that Argentina must "rise to the occasion" when they face Chile in the final of the Copa America on Saturday evening.
The Albiceleste have not won an international tournament in 22 years, but they will head into the match as the favourites to beat the host nation.
"Reaching a final is something very important, so we have to rise to the occasion," Di Maria is quoted as saying by Marca.
"We must carry on working hard because it's what's needed to reach our goal.
"Getting to the final is no walk in the park and we have made history in doing so. But now we want to become legends. Hopefully, we can pull it off."
Argentina's last victory in the Copa America came in 1993, where they beat Mexico in the final.
