Gerardo Martino has warned Argentina's Copa America rivals that his side can still improve after thumping Bolivia 5-0 in a warm-up friendly on Sunday.
Sergio Aguero grabbed a hat-trick, while Angel di Maria struck twice as Martino's men put their Bolivian counterparts to the sword with a ruthless showing in San Juan.
However, with the competition kicking off in Chile next weekend, the former Barcelona coach warns that his troops have not yet peaked.
"I'm sure that there are some teams that are starting the Copa America on a great level," he told reporters. "Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Paraguay, Ecuador - they're all in great shape. What we hope is to raise our performance while we are facing our future rivals.
"Generally speaking I'm satisfied. In this kind of game, there are some doubts and fears about the injuries. On the other hand, after these friendlies, you may finish, either with doubts or full of confidence.
"So it was great for us to play, know what we are able to do and get ready to compete."
Argentina are paired with Uruguay, Paraguay and Jamaica in the group stage.
