Martin Keown
After coming through the ranks at Arsenal, Martin Keown may have believed that his Highbury career was over when he was sold to Aston Villa in 1986 and subsequently moved on to Everton three years later.
However, George Graham brought him back to North London in February 1993, and it proved to be an inspired move as Keown quickly formed a formidable partnership with Tony Adams at the heart of the defence - often being selected ahead of Steve Bould.
Keown helped the club to the Premier League and FA Cup double in 1998 and 2002, and he added another FA Cup crown in 2003 before playing a bit-part role in Arsenal's Invincible season - his final campaign at the club.
The former England international made 310 Premier League appearances for the Gunners - a tally only three players can beat - and remains highly regarded as a member of one of the best defensive lines the division has ever seen.
