Wojciech Szczesny will miss just one of Poland's Euro 2012 matches following his red card against Greece on the opening day.
The Arsenal goalkeeper was handed his marching orders during the 1-1 draw in Warsaw for bringing down Dimitris Salpingidis inside the area.
Despite speculation that he would receive a three-match suspension, UEFA's disciplinary panel declined to extend the ban beyond the mandatory one match.
As a result the 22-year-old is ineligible to face Russia tomorrow but can return against the Czech Republic on Saturday evening.
