Ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash between Bournemouth and Arsenal, Sports Mole looks at how Unai Emery's side could line up at the Vitality Stadium.

Arsenal head into Sunday's Premier League fixture with Bournemouth looking to extend their unbeaten run in the top flight to 11 matches.

The Gunners have not suffered a defeat in any competition for over three months, but Unai Emery has witnessed his side draw four of their last five contests.

Recent results have left the North London outfit sitting in fifth position in the league standings, three points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

Emery has a number of injury concerns ahead of this weekend's match, and here Sports Mole looks at how his team could line up against the Cherries.



Out: Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin), Nacho Monreal (thigh), Laurent Koscielny (Achilles), Stephan Lichtsteiner (thigh), Danny Welbeck (ankle)

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette have been carrying minor injuries over the international break, but both are expected to start at the Vitality Stadium.

However, Nacho Monreal and Stephan Lichtsteiner remain on the sidelines with thigh problems, and that could lead to Ainsley Maitland-Niles being given his first start since August ahead of Sead Kolasinac.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan may get the nod over Alex Iwobi after making a game-saving contribution against Wolverhampton Wanderers two weeks ago.

Laurent Koscielny will not be considered for Sunday's fixture, but the Frenchman is closing in on a return from a long-term Achilles injury.
