Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that the club will need to run tests on the calf injury sustained by Petr Cech in order to determine the severity of the problem.
Cech limped off after 70 minutes of his side's 5-1 win over Everton following a collision with Oumar Niasse while both players were going for a loose ball.
However, Wenger is confident that there is no muscle or ligament damage and hinted that the shot-stopper may be available for next weekend's North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.
"He has a kick on his calf. I don't know medically how bad it is. [It was] Just a kick," Wenger told reporters.
Cech has been an ever-present for Arsenal in the Premier League so far this season, appearing in all 26 of their games.
