Arsenal have been handed a double boost after Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney made their returns from injury in a second-string fixture on Friday night.
Bellerin has been absent since January with a serious knee injury, while Tierney is yet to make his Gunners debut after undergoing a hernia operation in the summer.
However, the two full-backs were both part of the Arsenal Under-23s starting lineup which faced Wolverhampton Wanderers at the home of AFC Telford United.
The duo were each provided with 62 minutes of action as the youngsters for the respective Premier League sides played out a 2-2 draw in Shropshire.
Both Bellerin and Tierney will now likely be assessed ahead of a potential appearance in the squad for the EFL Cup tie against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.
