Arsenal full-back Mathieu Debuchy sustained what appeared to be a serious shoulder injury during his side's ongoing Premier League encounter against Stoke City this afternoon.
The Frenchman slipped off the pitch in the 12th minute following a collision with Stoke winger Marko Arnautovic.
He collided into an advertising hoarding, which saw his teammates immediately call for medical assistance.
It took some time before he was stretchered off the field holding his right shoulder, sparking suggestions that he has dislocated the joint.
It is expected that Debuchy, who has only recently returned following an ankle ligament injury, will be taken for an x-ray to determine the extent of the damage.
