Laurent Koscielny has been forced off after just 10 minutes of Arsenal's Europa League last-16 second leg against AC Milan with an apparent hip injury.
The Gunners captain for the night collided with Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli when the pair competed for a corner in the sixth minute of Thursday's game at the Emirates Stadium.
Koscielny appeared to be in serious discomfort after taking a blow to the hip and was substituted just four minutes later, with Calum Chambers taking the Frenchman's place on the field.
Arsenal's next fixture will not be until April 1, but Koscielny was expected to star for France in their international friendlies against Colombia and Spain as preparation for this summer's World Cup.
The 32-year-old joined Arsenal from Lorient in 2010 and has gone on to make 317 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions.
