Arsenal are reportedly facing the possibility of being without Alexandre Lacazette for their 2019-20 Premier League opener against Newcastle United next weekend.
Lacazette picked up an ankle injury against Lyon on July 28 and has missed the club's last two friendlies.
According to The Sun, the Frenchman's absence from Sunday's clash with Barcelona has led to fears that the 28-year-old will be unavailable for the match against Steve Bruce's side.
Lacazette enjoyed an impressive 2018-19 season for the Gunners, scoring 19 times and contributing 13 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions.
A difficult start to the new season will see Unai Emery's side face Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur in two of their first four matches ahead of the September international break.
