Chile coach Juan Antonio Pizzi has suggested that he will select Alexis Sanchez for his team's World Cup qualifier with Uruguay.
Last week it emerged that Sanchez had picked up an injury, but despite initial reports suggesting that the Arsenal forward could be sidelined for six weeks, it was claimed that he has sustained a "low-grade muscle injury".
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger expressed his concern for the welfare of his star player but despite his fears, it appears that the 27-year-old will play on Tuesday.
Pizzi told reporters: "Sanchez was not ready for the game in Colombia, but we knew the injury was a small one and we could have him for this match.
"It's not that he hasn't trained, he's trained every day, even when we were in Colombia he did a different kind of work. Yesterday (Sunday) he took part in full training."
Sanchez has scored eight times in 15 appearances for Arsenal during the current campaign.
