The agent of Tomas Rosicky has confirmed that the Arsenal midfielder will be out of action for up to two months after undergoing knee surgery.
The 34-year-old had been sidelined since June after suffering a knee problem while on international duty with the Czech Republic, and it was expected that he would return to training at the end of August.
However, Rosicky could now be unavailable for a further four weeks following the procedure.
"Tomas last Tuesday passed arthroscopic knee surgery," Pavel Paska told fotbal.idnes.cz. "The recovery period is estimated at four to eight weeks."
Rosicky made 24 appearances for Arsenal last season.
