Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has backed crocked midfielder Jack Wilshere to bounce back from his latest injury setback and return to his best form.
The England international will miss the opening month of the new season after suffering a hairline fracture on his left fibula.
Wenger revealed that the training-ground injury was "purely accidental", and the Frenchman expects Wilshere to soon regain his stride.
"It's bad luck and purely accidental," he told reporters. "Jack's down but he's coping with it. He'll play with the same confidence and desire when he comes back."
Injury problems saw Wilshere restricted to just nine Premier League starts across the duration of last season.
