Jack Wilshere will reportedly be given two more games with Arsenal's Under-21s side before he returns to the first-team setup.
The 24-year-old has yet to feature for the Gunners this season after breaking his leg in the Community Shield last August but recently returned to training and played more than an hour for the Under-21s on Friday night.
According to The Mirror, the midfielder will again feature for the U21s when they travel to Swansea City on Thursday afternoon, with a further appearance likely against West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.
Depending on how he performs, manager Arsene Wenger may then include him in the Premier League matchday squad for the game at relegation-threatened Sunderland on April 24.
Wenger recently insisted that he would be "cautious" and "not rush" Wilshere's return to the first team.
