Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has returned to first-team training with the squad amid ongoing speculation over his future.
The 28-year-old is now in the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium and has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City this summer.
However, the Gunners are unwilling to sell the Chilean even if it means losing him on a free transfer next year, and today they welcomed him back to training following an extended summer break.
Sanchez was given extra time off following his involvement in the Confederations Cup, and his return was further delayed last week due to illness.
Sanchez directly contributed to 34 goals in 38 Premier League appearances last season, scoring 24 and creating 10 more.
