Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis has been handed two senior positions in the governance of English football.
Gazidis has been installed on the Professional Game Board and as a member of the FA council.
The Gunners chief will be one of eight Premier League representatives on the FA council, which helps guide policy on development in the English game.
Gazidis told Arsenal's official website: "I am delighted to be joining these important footballing bodies.
"The appointments mean Arsenal will be represented in many of the key debates in the game both here in the UK and in Europe."
This summer Gazidis has clinched deals for Oliver Giroud and Lukas Podolski and is also chasing La Liga duo Nuri Sahin and Santi Cazorla.
