Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that the club want to keep hold of right-back Bacary Sagna amid reports of a possible exit for the player.
The 30-year-old, who comes to the end of his contract next year, has been linked with a return to France with Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain.
"He is not free in the summer so he can only leave if we let him go," Wenger said in a press conference. "Our desire is to keep him and he knows it."
Meanwhile, Wenger has revealed that he "never" considered quitting amid scrutiny over his job.
