Arsenal are reportedly planning to open contract talks with French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.
The 20-year-old joined the Gunners from Lorient in the summer of 2018 and has made 77 appearances for the London club in all competitions, including 29 outings this season.
Guendouzi's deal at the Emirates Stadium will run until the summer of 2022, but according to football.london, Arsenal want to hand the midfielder 'significantly improved terms'.
The report claims that talks over an extension are yet to take place but discussions are likely to be held before the start of the 2020-21 campaign.
Arsenal are allegedly keen to hand Guendouzi a new deal amid suggestions that Paris Saint-Germain are interested in a player who left the French champions in 2014.
The midfielder has contributed two assists in 21 Premier League appearances this season.
