Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that midfielder Mesut Ozil produced a "top, top performance" in his side's 2-0 victory at Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
Ozil netted Arsenal's opening goal before Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain added a second moments later to earn the Gunners their first Premier League win since January 2.
The German international has received praise throughout the season for the number of assists that he has provided for his team, but Wenger revealed that he was impressed with the 27-year-old's "fighting attitude" in the fixture on the South Coast.
The Frenchman told BBC Sport: "Mesut has become a very important player. He has added a fighting attitude today. It was a top, top, top performance from him.
"He scored with his right foot which is very interesting for us. If he scores with his right foot he will become even stronger."
Arsenal now sit in third place in the league standings, five points adrift of leaders Leicester City.
