Danish international Nicklas Bendtner has vowed never to return to Arsenal after moving to Sunderland on loan earlier this week.
The striker signed a one-season loan deal after finding himself at the lower end of the pecking order at the Gunners.
The 23-year-old has now revealed that he has no plans of returning to the North London side.
"I will never go back to Arsenal. If I can have it my way, I will never play for them again," he told The Sun.
"After my car accident I never really got the chance to earn a spot in the first team.
"I am really looking forward to playing for Sunderland and then we will see next summer. I will find a new club, but I will not go back to Arsenal, that's for sure."
Sunderland next face Chelsea after the international break.
