Hull City manager Steve Bruce has admitted that his side were "running on empty" when they conceded an injury-time equaliser in their 2-2 draw at Arsenal this afternoon.
The Tigers lost Nikica Jelavic in the warm-up before goalkeeper Steve Harper was replaced in the first half after picking up an injury.
Michael Dawson then left the field late on as Hull saw a number of players fall foul of injuries following the international break, which has had a detrimental effect to a number of players, according to Bruce.
"They were manful and it's just a shame we've conceded in the last minute," he told BBC Sport shortly after the final whistle. "That's four times in eight or nine games.
"A lot of them have been all over the world this week and we were running on empty.
"We deserved maybe to hang on, but you always know Arsenal can create something."
The result means that Hull have won just once in their last seven league matches.
