Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla believes that Mesut Ozil's arrival could help the club challenge for major honours this season.
The 24-year-old German playmaker, who joined the Gunners from Real Madrid on transfer deadline day, created all three goals in his side's 3-1 victory over Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday.
"Hopefully we win the title, but it is too early to talk about it," Cazorla told Sphera Sports. "The beginning is very good. After the first loss the team is performing at a good level.
"We are consistent, that is what we lacked last season. Furthermore, the incorporation of Mesut Ozil has given us a big leap in quality.
"Hopefully we can now become one of the great teams and that gives us the chance to fight for the title."
Arsenal are currently at the top of the league table with 12 points from five matches.
