Crystal Palace striker Marouane Chamakh has revealed that he is looking forward to returning to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday to face his former club Arsenal.
Chamakh left the Gunners in the summer after making just 11 league appearances in his final two years with the club, but the Moroccan forward has insisted that he developed as a player during his time in North London.
The 30-year-old told Crystal Palace's official website: "I'm looking forward to seeing the players, the manager and the fans.
"I have some very good memories from playing at Arsenal. I learned a lot there on my initial arrival in England.
"I learned a lot about discipline, learning and understanding the English game and getting used to how to move and pass on the pitch as an attacker in this league."
Chamakh has scored five times in 24 appearances for the Eagles.
