Chris Coleman is expected to request that Aaron Ramsey join up with the rest of the Wales team, despite withdrawing from the squad yesterday.
The Arsenal midfielder has been ruled out of the Gary Speed memorial match against Costa Rica with an ankle injury.
Despite being unable to play, new Wales boss Coleman has reportedly requested the playmaker's presence but has ensured Gunners boss Arsene Wenger that Ramsey won't be risked.
"If players are injured we need to do what is right for them," the Daily Star quotes Coleman as saying. "But it would also be good to have as many of them here as possible.
"That's because of the circumstances of this match, but also because it gives us all a chance to make sure we are ready to move forward."
The main priority of the friendly fixture is to remember former Wales coach Speed, who died in November last year.
