Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has admitted that he is "relieved" to break his duck in the Premier League.
The Frenchman scored in the Gunners' 3-1 comeback victory over West Ham United at Upton Park on Saturday.
"I am so happy tonight to score my first goal and to assist my friend Theo [Walcott]," he told ESPN. "I am very happy. I feel relieved now and I hope many goals will now come.
"Everyone talked to me about this goal, everyone said: 'There's a goal coming soon, don't worry, we trust you,' and I remained confident, and I kept going, concentrated on the work in training and the game. So I remain confident."
Arsenal are now fifth in the Premier League table with 12 points from seven matches, seven points off the pace.
