Thierry Henry has claimed that Arsenal must spend in the summer if they want to challenge for next season's Premier League title.
The Gunners remain on course for at least a top-three finish this term following Sunday's 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
However, Henry is concerned that Arsene Wenger's side could fall further behind the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City if they fail to boost their squad at the end of the campaign.
"You know Chelsea are going to [strengthen], you know Manchester City are going to do it," the Frenchman told Sky Sports News. "We've been through that a lot. Arsenal need to do it."
Henry's former club are back in action on Wednesday when they welcome struggling Sunderland to the Emirates Stadium.
