Former Liverpool and Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier doubts that Thierry Henry will complete a second loan spell to Arsenal in January.
Houllier, who is head of global soccer at New York Red Bulls, has revealed that Arsene Wenger has yet to contact him over a move.
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere said yesterday that he would love Henry to return, and reports had surfaced that a deal was agreed between the clubs.
"For now, we have not had any formal request for Arsene Wenger to loan Thierry Henry," Houllier told Canal+.
"I am not sure both parties want to have this second comeback. I think Thierry needs a rest. He is about to become a father and I think he will want to enjoy the break."
Henry scored two goals while on loan at Arsenal in January of this year.
