Arsenal's Premier League clash with Leeds United has been paused due to a power cut at Elland Road.
The two sides had only been in action for 23 seconds before play was halted, with Chris Kavanagh conversing with his assistants and both managers on the touchline.
Prior to kickoff at Elland Road, the stadium lights reportedly switched off temporarily before coming back on again straight away, and the assistant referees soon began to experience issues with their microphones.
Fans in the stadium were left in the dark as Mikel Arteta and Jesse Marsch also remained perplexed, and it was soon announced that a power cut was the reason for the delay in play.
Both teams were sent back to the dressing rooms, with football.london journalist Kaya Kaynak reporting that none of the TV feed or VAR communication systems could function.
Play eventually resumed at 14:40 - nearly 40 minutes after the game was initially paused - as Arsenal aim to go four points clear at the top of the table.
