Bernd Leno has claimed that Arsenal are the biggest club in London ahead of rivals Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Gunners shot-stopper, 27, arrived from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2018 and has established himself as Unai Emery's first choice between the sticks.
The Germany international discussed Arsenal's global fanbase, which he believes is far wider than that of any other team in the English capital.
"You can't compare [Arsenal with Leverkusen], of course Arsenal is a world club, the club here in London," Leno told SportBild.
"Not Chelsea, not Tottenham – Arsenal is the club here with fans around the world. No matter where we are, also in the USA or in Asia, there are many fans of Arsenal everywhere."
Leno has started all four Premier League games for Arsenal so far this season but has only managed to keep one clean sheet as the Gunners' defensive woes continue.
