Germany manager Joachim Low is reportedly wanted by Arsenal to replace Arsene Wenger as head coach at the end of the season.
Wenger is contracted to the Gunners until the end of the 2018-19 campaign, but speculation surrounding the Frenchman's future has gathered pace following back-to-back 3-0 defeats to Manchester City over the last seven days.
Experienced manager Carlo Ancelotti has been linked with the Emirates Stadium, but according to the Daily Mail, Low is the frontrunner to take control of Arsenal ahead of next season.
The report, however, claims that the Gunners will find it difficult to negotiate a deal with Germany considering that Low still has two years left to run on his contract, and will lead the national team in this summer's World Cup.
Low has not managed at club level since 2004, but directed Germany to the 2014 World Cup crown.
Arsenal will attempt to bounce back from what has been a disappointing week when they travel to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
