Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has poked fun at Arsenal's summer valuation of striker Luis Suarez.
The Gunners launched two unsuccessful bids for the Uruguayan international in the summer transfer window, one of which is said to have been £40,000,001.
After the 26-year-old scored four in last night's 5-1 victory over Norwich City, Rodgers believes that the striker's price has risen.
"I think you have to hold him up as one of the best strikers in the world, and yes, he's maybe worth £40m and two pounds now!" the Metro quotes Rodgers as saying.
Suarez has been linked with a move away from Liverpool in January, but the former Ajax star has revealed that he will stay at Anfield until the end of the season.
