Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has described his goal during this afternoon's North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur as "one of the best".
Rosicky exchanged passes with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain before smashing an effort past Hugo Lloris and into the top corner after less than two minutes, a goal that proved to be the winner as the Gunners saw out a 1-0 victory at White Hart Lane.
The 33-year-old acknowledged that it was a special strike and admitted that scoring against his team's local rivals made it even better, but stressed that the three points were the most important thing.
"It's one of the best. Against Tottenham obviously as well. I'm delighted by a goal like that and most importantly we won the game," Rosicky told Sky Sports News.
"It's a great result for us. These derby games are always very tough. It means a lot for us, obviously for our fans as well. We are delighted."
The victory lifted the Gunners back up to third in the Premier League table, where they now trail leaders Chelsea by four points with a game in hand.
